Summer Solstice "Regular" Saturday Morning Rides
These are the 3 more typical Saturday rides... except for starting in TRCP!

The set of 42, 21 & short 21 KM ~ 13 mile loops will leave at 9am.

21 K Short: West on Shady Canyon, to Culver; Mason Park Trail; Yale; Woodbridge Trail to Food Stop @ 5 miles. Continue Barranca; Laguna Canyon; Quail Hill; Shady Canyon Bike Trail into Bommer Canyon



21 Medium: West on Shady Canyon, to Culver / Ford EastBluff; Culver; Harvard; Barranca to Food Stop @ 13 miles. Continue Barranca; Laguna Canyon; Quail Hill; Shady Canyon Bike Trail into Bommer Canyon

42 Long: West on Shady Canyon, to Culver / Ford EastBluff; Back Bay to PCH, Dover; Irvine Avenue; Back Bay Trail; Jamboree; EastBluff again the other way; Harvard; Barranca to Food Stop @ 24.6 miles. Continue Yale Loop; Yale; Hicks Canyon; Portola; Sand Canyon; Laguna Canyon; Quail Hill; Shady Canyon Bike Trail into Bommer Canyon

Summer Solstice "Special" All Day Rides
These are the 3 special rides being offered for the more experienced riders...
Not all Flat, but no Freeway riding or Tanks to avoid!


A 63 mile / 101 KM Metric Century (3 miles for each year) will leave at 8:30.
63 Metric Century:
Similar to Century but turning up the Santa Ana River...Gypsum Canyon, Santa Ana Canyon, Weir to Serrano over Anaheim Hills to Santiago; Jamboree; Portola; Sand Canyon; Laguna Canyon; Quail Hill; Shady Canyon Bike Trail into Bommer Canyon

An 84 mile Long Plus (4 miles for each of our 21 years) will leave at 8am.
84 Long Plus: Similar to Century but skipping the Yorba Linda leg...Gypsum Canyon, Santa Ana Canyon, Weir to Serrano over Anaheim Hills to Santiago; Skipping the Volcanics; Jamboree; Portola; Sand Canyon; Laguna Canyon; Quail Hill; Shady Canyon Bike Trail into Bommer Canyon
A full 105 Century (5 miles for @ year since 1983)
will roll at 7:30am from Turtle Rock Park.
105 Century: West on Shady Canyon, to Culver / Ford EastBluff; Back Bay to PCH, to Seal Beach, Lampson; OrangeWood; Santa Ana River as far as Gypsum Canyon, with some Yorba Linda tossed in; Weir to Serrano over Anaheim Hills and Cannon over the El Modeno Volcanics, to Santiago; Jamboree; Portola; Sand Canyon; Laguna Canyon; Quail Hill; Shady Canyon Bike Trail into Bommer Canyon

We will pass plenty of coffee shacks along the routes, and you will have a chance to stop for your own brunch.
All 3 of these longer rides will be hitting Robert Nugent's famous portable feast SAG stop with munchies
to enjoy out there on the Santa Ana River in Yorba Regional Park between the River Trail and La Palma.

The Centurians will hit it twice: at 48 and 64 miles.
The Long Plus will get there at 48 miles.
The Metric Centurians will get there at 31 miles.

All 6 routes will go up the Bommer Canyon Road from the Shady Canyon Bike Path;
You can finish the ride up into
Bommer Canyon Cattle Camp & join the Party - or if you are staying for dinner, you can ride down the road back to your car at Turtle Rock when ever you want; change clothes & freshen up in the bathrooms, load your bike & drive back into Bommer Canyon for the Party

You can enjoy Bommer at the end of the ride, but to have Dinner with us...
Please register before the 2nd Monday in June (June 14) so we have enough food!
