Started off follwing the Russian River down stream to Monte Rio...



 Took Bohemian Highway Bridge to other side of River &
rode Moscow Road to Duncan Mills.
Back track up stream a bit to Cazadero Highway.
Built on the old railway bed, this gentle road took us all the way to Cazadero.



Then we climbed up the Fort Ross Road; 3,200 feet of climbing!


Once we finally made it to the top, the route follws the ridge line NW.
Alex dropped down Fort Ross Road Short Cut;
Richard., then Bill & George dropped down the Timber Cove Short Cut.
On the way down Timber Cove, and again on the Coast Highway
Bill noticed Ruoff private drive; so there may be another shortcut down the mountain...



Jim, then Steve, Doug, Ron & Dave continued North around Salt Point
They reported 4 miles of broken gravel road before they got to the Coast Highway
& trekked back South. The only market was at Walsh Landing a mile North of the Ranch,
so we hauled canned chili & rice-a-roni & bread back to the room to eat for dinner
