A Celebration ~ Memorial gathering
for Doug' s Family and Friends
Tuesday May 25th 2004
6 P. M. at the Heritage Park Gazebo, Irvine
Gathering for an informal celebration;
Friends and family are invited to share stories of Doug, and are
encouraged to bring photographs.
During the memorial portion at the Gazebo there are no chairs,
so guests are encouraged to bring a folding chair to sit.
Flowers are welcome, bring along or delivery may be made to the
Heritage Park Community Services Center
or instead you may wish to contribute to Doug's favorite charity;
the American Diabetes Association, for which he recently coordinated
"Team BCI" and rode
in the Tour
de Cure on May 15th...

Location: Heritage Park is located near the I-5 Freeway
in Irvine at Walnut & Yale
The Gazebo is located on the East edge of the pond, behind the
Youth Services & Fine Arts centers.
Address: 4601 Walnut, Irvine 92604, but enter parking lot from
the East side on Yale.
From North/central OC/LA: I-5 South; Exit Culver South,
turn East (left) on Walnut, then North (left) on Yale.
From coastal/Western OC/LA: 405 South; Exit Culver North, turn
East (right) on Walnut, then North (left) on Yale.
Turn left from Yale into parking lot and right toward the north
end of the parking lot.
From Southern OC/SD: I-5 North; Exit Jeffrey South,
turn West (right) on Walnut, then North (right) on Yale.
From Southern OC: 405 North; take Jeffrey North, turn West (left)
on Walnut, then North (right) on Yale.
Turn left from Yale into parking lot and right toward the north
end of the parking lot.

Food and refreshments will be served at the adjacent
picnic area following formal celebration of Doug.
A Memorial is also planned in Doug's
memory for the Bicycle Club
of Irvine community at our monthly meeting on May 26th
Doug loved the BCI
Forum. (He single handedly posted 22% of the
messages on the forum!)
